B.V. Home Centre is the largest supplier of building materials and agricultural products from a single location in the Bulkley Valley. The company has retail stores and lumberyards in Telkwa, 10 minutes east of Smithers and in Houston. Our trained and motivated staff are focused on providing contractors, homebuilders, companies and institutions with quality products at competitive prices. We are noted for our prompt quotations, project pricing and volume discounts. A fleet of four trucks, including a 10-tonne unit with a Hiab crane and two 4-tonne tip-trucks, allow us to quickly accommodate most customers’ delivery requirements.
B.V. Home Centre’s product lines include construction and treated lumber to 20-foot lengths, plywood, metal and shingle roofing, siding, drywall, insulation, windows, doors, kitchens, General Paint products, plumbing, mouldings, bricks, cement blocks and hardware. We have a large selection of quality electric, cordless and air power tools, including nails and accessories. Power tools products lines include Makita, Bosch, Milwaukee, Delta Porter Cable and Stanley-Bostitch. Our Houston store has a full-service flooring department, including laminates, hardwoods, ceramic, carpet and linoleum. We also stock septic tanks and sewer pipe.
On the agricultural side, B.V. Home Centre stocks grain and forage seed, farm and pet feed, salt and mineral supplements, waterline, pumps, culverts, fence posts, barn poles, fencing wire, Hi-Hog gates, panels and ranch equipment, as well as vet supplies.
Our services include material and window take-offs, engineered wood and truss design, as well as shed, shop and garage packages. We are special order specialists – if we don’t stock it, we find it.
